When I asked the same question, this is intended. Only the 'newly added game' status will automatically change.

That's weird... especially because the game gets sorted on top when sorted by "Last Played", yet I'm still planing to play it. Normal behavior would be to override the manual "Plan To Play" option, or at least give the option to let it be overridden or not.

Something I have just discovered: In the filter options I can only choose "None", "Not Played", "Plan To Play" and "Played" as "Completion Status" filter. How can I filter out the game I've set to "Abandoned", "Beaten", "Completed" and "On Hold" manually?

I also wouldn't mind being able to set multiple 'unplayed' statuses to be changed. EDIT: See #3379

If a completion status is unused, it won't appear in the filter presets. . I'd switch to game list view, sort by completion status, and check that your games haven't accidentally gotten set to the wrong one.

There's also no exclusion filter yet. To filter out something just select everything else.

I'll give it a +1

Indeed, although I checked it before writing. But I double checked it know and it does filter correctly.
