.jl files are downloaded instead of opening in the default text editor #499

Notebooks, pdf, tex, python files, pngs are still displayed in a new tab. Using Google Chrome Version 61.0.3163.100 (64-bit) right now but problem persists on Firefox and older version of Chrome.

Julia files were still being opened in a separate tab up until last night.

I tried this on Google Chrome Version 59.0.3071.115 and Firefox 56.0. I was not able to reproduce the issue.

EDIT: I see the issue now. Will find a fix.

I can open .jl files in a new window and change the url into edit mode by hand. Not sure why this is happening only for .jl files.

Any updates? The .jl files are still getting downloaded directly.

no fix yet. This is due to a recent version of ipywidgets, but we're not sure exactly why.
