About the baseline #8

I saw that this paper compares the method with OmniSLAM and it says "although its reconstruction only covers a limited subset of the vertical field of view", in paragraph 4.3. I read the OmniSLAM paper. Since it is used on vehicle, they usually don't really care about sky or ground. And since they did not provide the code, was it possible to expand some parameters to enable OmniSLAM to cover the full vertical field? Thanks a lot! Just curious about it, if you did not try it I would just delete this question.

Hi, I asked the same question to the authors of OmniSLAM, and they responded they could not change the coverage by simply changing some parameters. I also do not have the code, so I cannot try many things.

Sorry, It seems only the owner of this project can delete an issue. If you wanted to delete it, it would be just fine. Great project. : )
