Auto Farmers #12

Purpose Centralize discussion of the auto farming methods and tiering/organizing them based on the following:

Tier 2

Multifarms (Forestry)

Basic Greenhouse/Advanced Greenhouse (Calculator)

Piston/Block Breakers (Vanilla/Multiple mods)

Tier 3

Farmer(AA) WIP

Farming Machine(Industrial Foregoing) WIP

Tier 4

Cloche (Immersive Engineering

Tier 5

Not sure if most farming is relevant at this point, but now can add specific blocks to speed up out of world farming with the Growth Crystals from Tiny Progressions - they will be heavily modified to increase growth ticks. Growth Crystal Tier 1 - 3 (Tiny Progressions

Sugarcane, Cactus, Melons and Pumpkins are farmable on massive scales using purely vanilla methods. Cactus can be done entirely passively, too. If they can be used as fuel for power, they probably will be.

I like the idea of relying on basic farming items like crops and wood/charcoal for the early game power, moving to processed items/liquids later on.

The most dangerous of all the crops or fuels mentioned above is probably melons, since they can be both used for Ethanol and Plant oil to make Biodiesel. It's also the 2nd easiest mechanically to farm (cactus being the easiest to farm pure vanilla in my opinion), so overall I think only melons really need to be watched out for.

Melons also later on make for easy Mekanism biofuel for Ethlyene, good in Diesel Generators and Advanced Generators, so how easy it is to get melons at each tier matters more importantly than other crops.
