+1 here. No music at all, using spotify as source
+1 load the song for like 5-10 seconds then stop and nothing ever happen
Same here. After some seconds, play button stops spinning and no music at all.
same thing on both Android and linux desktop app.
Same also here. MacOS 3.8.1 and Android Xperia 5 iv 3.4.0 and 3.8.1 Also doesn't load all my playlists. Every time I go to the playlist page it slowly populates the list, sometimes not finishing.
Same here at Android and Windows.
+1 flatpak on linux app, also tried piped with different instances, still refuses to play
Same here. Android and flatpak, all sources. Whenever I select a song from the queue, it loads the song (if it hasn't been loaded before) and immediately goes to the next one as if the song had finished playing. When the song is not in the queue, then it doesn't even try to clear/doesn't get added to the queue

I also have MacOS and IOS
This app must really like Death by Glamour by Toby Fox huh

I have exactly the same problem as the topic creator. I have an Android cell phone. It was still working 2 days ago.

Same here, the songs load infinitely, then skip to the next one, but nothing plays
I also encountered the same problem
Same here, trying to listen to my everyday playlist, it's not working
Same issue, songs try to load but never play. Reverting didn't fix. MacOS 10.15.7
This is probably related to #1916 and should be fixed in the library causing the issue according to https://github.com/Hexer10/youtube_explode_dart/issues/286 Bumping the version and rebuilding spotube should resolve the problem - will try later.

And how to make a rebuild in the application?
Same over here 403 error. I upgraded a second ago, after the old version was not loading songs anymore.
I guess it is some kind of endpoint or endpoint data processing issue. 403.
Like here (as previously pointed out in #1916) https://github.com/Hexer10/youtube_explode_dart/issues/286
For me it's on Desktop. Non-Windows env.

We seemingly have to wait until the next build gets released.
@Aro320x omg please fix the formatting your "#line" is mentioning other issues, which are not related to it. Simply put backticks: ``` text here ``` around it.
@Aro320xoh mein Gott, bitte korrigieren Sie die Formatierung. Ihre „#Zeile“ erwähnt andere Probleme, die damit nichts zu tun haben. Setzen Sie einfach Backticks: „Text hier“ darum.
Sorry, but I'm not a programmer. I have no idea where I can change my formatting!

Dreipunkte obere rechte Ecke, dann "editieren" - alles gut :D In der Übersetzung klingt es echt gemein, ist aber eher ein freundlicher Hinweis :)
@kleyton67 please fix your formatting as well. Top right corner, three dots, edit and put back ticks around it. Atm you ping unrelated issues.

This is probably related to #1916 and should be fixed in the library causing the issue according to Hexer10/youtube_explode_dart#286 Bumping the version and rebuilding spotube should resolve the problem - will try later.
I can confirm that updating youtube_explode_dart: ^2.2.2
in pubspec.yaml
and building the app solves the problem for me. I tried several songs and they all worked fine.
Is it possible to release a new version of Spotube outside the release schedule with only this dependency changed to make the app usable again? Even if it does not seem to fix the problem for everyone (mentioned in https://github.com/Hexer10/youtube_explode_dart/issues/286), I think it would be better if at least some people could use the app.

Tut mir leid, aber ich bin kein Programmierer. Ich habe keine Ahnung, wo ich meine Formatierung ändern kann!

+1 just installed from AUR via yay, songs load for a few seconds, then stops like it never happened, plz fix :)
Date: 24-09-2024
Platforms: Android and Windows
Version: v3.8.1 (Nightly Channel) and latest stable version of Spotube
I confirm that the problem has been identified on both platforms. Song search works correctly, and there is access to the Spotify library, but the playback process has issues.
Correct Playback:
Incorrect Playback:
The error persists with any of the sources used by the program, including:
The issue lies in that, despite performing a specific search, the player remains stuck on the last correct playback and fails to access the new search, maintaining confusing behavior by jumping between artists and songs of the same genre.
I hope this additional information is helpful in resolving the issue. 😊
Best regards,
Rigoberto Martínez

@KRTirtho would it be possible for you to publish a new version with just that dependency updated?

I did and it works for me, but many people do not have the needed knowledge for doing this themselves. For them it would be nice to have a fixed version.

I was really busy with some personal life issues so I couldn't fix it. Sorry for the delay. I've merged the PR with fix. It should be released by tomorrow

Something is not working. Possibly other versions are broken too... If you have time can you take a look at it?
Is there an existing issue for this? (Please read the description)
