not starting and shutting off the unit #76

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Loading the game from the menu 
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is to get in game. I never make it past the PSP splash screen 
before the unit shuts off

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
I select the game from my menu. 
Hit start. 
Random game splash screen.
then PSPteam splash.
then power off.
