Description

This task provides information and tools to improve map data in Bulacan. See the README.md for more information regarding the project.

Areas of Focus

• Adding missing roads
• Improving road attributes (names, lanes, restrictions, etc.)
• Correcting road connectivity issues
• Improving road classification consistency according to OSM guidelines
• Correcting road alignment issues
• Attempt to resolve open notes
• Other one-off fixes

Guidelines

Along with the Kaart Data Team Guidelines, contributors are expected to adhere to the following standards and practices:

Methods & Tools

Error Detection

The OSM Wiki and LearnOSM validation standards as well as the task guidelines will need to be used as a guide to review work for any errors.

Validation

Errors and warnings will be reviewed by the contributor using the JOSM validation tool. The contributor will run this validation and fix any errors or warnings prior to any changes being uploaded.

Contributors

The project is open to OpenStreetMap contributors of any experience level.
