Any reason not to use 2.052? What was added in 2.063 and anywhere to get it to stay current?

You can use 2.052. I think it's fine. If you want to stay very current you can install ESPHome dashboard and compile a new binary that way. But just staying on the latest release is fine. Nothing much has been added or changed.
