afaict tho the amount of setup for hardware keys is in the order of O(N*K), for number of web accounts N and number of keys K, i.e. for every freaking website you need to manually add every single freaking key. ugh. :/ notably:

google (auth qr will replace previous one, so must scan it on all authenticator apps at once!)
lastpass (LastPass browser extension -> Vault -> Account Settings -> Multifactor Options -> Google Authenticator)
github
protonmail (forgot credentials?)
mega
