I'm also happy to create a kitura-community-projects repo on my personal Github to get this started if this is something that wouldn't make sense to be somewhere within the Kitura org.
Thanks @neurosaurus I think this is a great idea!
If we were to put this onto the Learn page as you suggested we could look at repurposing the Community and Books
section for this.
Do you have a list of projects/tools compiled already? I think to get something published quickly we could create a repo which we could link to from the website, and use that whilst we decide on the design of incorporating this to the Learn page?
@ddunn2 Glad you like the idea.
I've only made note of a few from the Kitura Slack:
You could also ask on the Kitura Slack channel to gather some additional projects from the community.
That sounds like a good starting point.
Once I've finished migrating kitura.io over to a Kitura server I'd definitely like to take a look at this.
It'd be useful to make this a relatively simple addition as well, that way it'd enable people to easily open PR's against kitura.io
to display their own projects.
As someone using Swift in a new way (ahem, on the server), it's useful for me to occasionally reference other Kitura apps as a way to make certain architectural decisions.
I'd love it if either here or somewhere within the IBM-Swift Github org, there was a list of open-sourced Kitura projects and tools developed by the community. I find the Kitura tutorials useful as a jumpstart, but would appreciate seeing other mature projects as well.
