UNKNOWN ERROR (mining NEOSCRYPT on P2Pool) #47

Open marecek666 opened 7 years ago

marecek666 commented 7 years ago

hi, I found out that there is a problem using latest 8.11 ccminer in neoscrypt on several p2pool nodes (ASUS GTX 950). This is what happens: CUDA ERROR IN FUNC 'NEOSCRYPT_CPU_HASH_K4_2STREAM' AT LINE 1460 : UNKNOWN ERROR

and another issue, this latest version does not support client.reconnect. Will it be available in the future?

KlausT commented 7 years ago

Maybe the default intensity is too high. Try -i 14 or something. Theoretically it should support reconnect, but right now there's a bug somewhere in this area.

AcharyaOne commented 7 years ago

image Have the same problem with default settings. -i 14 seems to work but hashrate decreases by 1400khs

KlausT commented 7 years ago

Wierd. With my 1070 I can go up to 17.6 I have tried mining on p2pool.neoscrypt.de and there's no problem. What version are you using?

AcharyaOne commented 7 years ago

Lastest version 8.13 on zpool.ca ccminer.exe -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://neoscrypt.mine.zpool.ca:4233 I will try previous version and report back

edit: same problems with previous version

AcharyaOne commented 7 years ago

It's weird, after installing latest NVidia drivers (was using previous ones) it seems to be working on default. Not sure if something got messed up related to previous drivers

AcharyaOne commented 7 years ago

since you also have 1070 could you please share the intensities used for each algo?

Drusuilia commented 7 years ago
