Cuda error neoscrypt_hash_ tpruvot line 1479 #99

Hi Im running the latest 8.16 release (15.12.17) on Win10. Ever so often the hashing stops with the following error: "Cuda error in func "neoscrypthash tpruvot" at line 1479: unspecified launch failure" This happens after a few hours of hashing or it can run for an entire day without any problem at all.

Im running it on 2x 1080 ti and a 1x1080 ti rig atm having a go at the Vivo coin. I see this error periodically and with or without any modifications to the cards. Lastest drivers/updates installed etc.. Do you have any suggestions as to what the cause of this can be? I´m not familiar enough with poking around in .exe-files to trouble shoot this on my own.

Finding the cause of this kind of rare error is usually not easy. Maybe another programm that only runs once in a while and is hogging the ressources. Or maybe heat issues. Or maybe power supply issues.

I havent seen the issue before with other miners/regular ccminer. It should not be heat related as I keep the cards below 70C with a decent fan setting. And it should not be PSU related as theres plenty of wattage available for the gpus.

I am fairly new to the whole mining thingie, but i know my way around HW :) Still waiting for parts to complete my first rig so it might be related to your suggestions. Bypassing the issue with a loop script which will be running on the rig anyways to ensure uptime.
