Discordify not showing rich presence to other users. #7

So I got the rich presence working for my discord client. But when someone else is looking at what I am playing no rich presence shows up on his/her side. It just says that I'm playing spotify. I also checked it on my phone to see if it was true and it was. I'm using Discordify 3.1. I don't know if that could be the problem.

I think issue #8 might have something to do with this.

I don't have any problems with missing files. I also have a problem with showing the icon (see the image below). image

@raf4498 There's an option when you make the Discord Application to upload an icon to the RP application to show in Discord. https://i.imgur.com/sUh5qvc.png

@JonathanTheInsane I've done that and it saved it. So that is not the problem. I don't know if it needs to be a specific type of file but I did not get any errors.

Assets shouldn't matter, as far as I'm aware, since Discord just won't show them. You may need to upload this though image

I tried it with a small and large one but that was not the solution. But the biggest problem is that the RP is not showing up for other users except me.

Same issue. RP is not showing up for anyone other than me, checked with a test user as well as from phone. The icon also doesn't seem to work, even though I've uploaded my assets and icon.

@raf4498 @DarkFamiliarity If you rename "Spotify" to something else or add a period after it (eg. Spotify.), it should show up!

@tmorusty Thank you! That fixed the problem of RP not showing for other users. The problem of the Spotify logo not showing up in the RP is still occurring.

@raf4498 No idea why 3.1 doesn't show the logo, but the 2.0 release works perfectly, so I would just use that one for now until it's fixed

Unfortunately I haven't been able to re-produce this issue.

thank you @tmorusty, the icon issue goes away in 2.0, but RP appearing to others still seems to be an issue
