The reason is that users are allowed to zoom in with plotly and this can reverse the y-axis depending on the way boxes are defined.
this also appears when you click on reset axis, i.e. the definition to have low magnitudes up is lost in the UI
the behaviour seems to persist when resetting axis, i.e. the magnitude axis flip for reset axis needs to be adjusted
@mpgh does this happen with a certain Target? Can you please provide a screenshot and/or a link to an example?
this happens to various targets after zooming in, double click zoom out and reset axis, e.g.
Plots of ongoing microlensing events can be shown upside known as if the magnification were negative. The actual parameters would not suggest it, the issue is not persistent and after reloading the page the model is shown correctly. Issue appears under ubuntu 22, firefox.
