I've heard (Yes Umcaruje, it's you!) that FL Studio counts time that one have spent working on a project.

What do you think about adding such a feature to LMMS?

Wouldn't be very hard to implement. Might be a bit time consuming, though...

mmm spooky to know how much time one have abused in front of the pc.. Imagine your better half discovering the feature and then you have to answer to questions like:

"Henry!!! You SAID you would clean up in garage, but you have barely moved a dustball!! However you have spent 3 h 23 min and 55,83 sekd infront of that STUPID pc ..TODAY!! My mother alway...aso" :) nee honestly- many ideas that will increase creativity and inhance usabillity have been posted. Imo those should be favored

I don't get it. Why would you even be in a relationship with someone who doesn't agree with/understand your hobbies? Seems like you'd just be making each other miserable...

I often leave the window open the whole day (without doing much) ;) So it might be good to always count 3 minutes after the last change, and then stop the counter.

Anyways - great idea unfa.

Partly I agree with Vesa, partly no one (and no couple) is ever free of trouble, and partly - I wouldn't take it too seriously.

All in all it is just a piece of information that might be of some use, for example I like making tracks fast, and posting "made in x hours and y minutes" is something I find nice.

But there are hundred times more needed things to code before this. Undo for example ;)

I just never get jokes like that... I think they're weird, kind of like that tv show Married with Children, where Al Bundy sits in front of the TV for 30 minutes and complains about how much he hates his wife and children... well why not divorce then if your life is that miserable (except that it'd be a short series I guess)...

But I digress, this is getting way too offtopic.

It could be useful, sure. Just not a very high priority...

Undo/redo is already in master branch and seems to work fine.
