Demonstrate using Travis-ci to generate PDF from Markdown #26

I need some help from the owner of this repository @richardxdubois or perhaps @drphilmarshall can be of assistance? I do not have permissions to create the gh-pages branch or to turn on Travis-ci. Both require access to the repository's "Settings". Can one of you do that? I am happy to hunt you down so we can do that together if necessary!

I'm a big-shot LSSTDESC admin now muahahaha, oh and we've moved to GH Actions and we're not using gh-pages at this point.
