Sounds like either corrupted or missing BudgetDocument.xml. At the bottom of
the dsBudget screen, you can find the file path where BudgetDocument.xml is
stored. Please make sure that the document exist under that path, and the file
isn't corrupted (if it is, just use the previous version that is not corrupted
- dsBudget stores previous backup automatically under the same directory where
BudgetDocument.xml is stored).

Usually, C:\Users\<name>\AppData directory is hidden, so you will have to
manually enter the directory name in your file explorer in order to navigate
into it. Type following in the file explorer to locate the directory

C:\Users\bob\AppData\Roaming\dsBudget

Then, it should open with a directory containing your budget document. Please
let me know what you find in that directory (see if the BudgetDocument.xml is
valid)

i copied and pasted that path into the search and into the explorer search and
nothing.
and now i just went this past weekend and started a new budget and today tried
to enter data and it will not let me. so now do i have to delete the program
and start all over. this is getting real old.
this is the path nothing came up
 C:\Users\bob\AppData\Roaming\dsBudget

this is the error message i get now sorry server is having trouble processing
your request error unidentified.
so what is next please. this is a good program for me but if i have to start
over it is worthless.

what i had to do. i had to get an attribute changing program and go to users
and the rest of the path and change the attributes for all that path so i could
delete the complete program. please do make it hidden. then i re installed the
program after i deleted all of it. it was everywhere. then i re installed
2.0.24 and ran it and reset up my data. now i can fined the path for the data.
now for the big test to see if it keep going. this bug cost me 4 months of data.

all i did was close the program and the next day it was gone.
