I am not a fan of the fullscreen nature.
1) as a typical LaserWeb user switches between CAD and CAM the taskbar is hidden
2) The general look of a framed max size window is nicer
3) The top menu has a lot of irrelevant entries like Edit etc. only the file-> exit and help menu is useful, and then only to a degree: help is already present on the top toolbar:
