[FEATURE REQUEST] Update metadata of existing books #147

I'd like to have and option to resync metadata from my server, for books that are already synced in Plappa.

I've done a pass of cover upgrades to my Audiobookself server and I could sync those changes on the app. I can see now that after several days the metadata are updated, so the concept is in there, but I'd like a way to force it immediately.

Hi David, thank you for reaching out!

This has been requested before and is definitely on my to-do-list. You can already force a refresh for individual books by dragging down in the detail view of a book (where you see the list of chapters), this will also refresh the cover art.

Hey. I'd like to +1 the manual option, including the file listing as well.

If files are renamed or converted to m4b then I haven't found any way other than remove and readd the server to have the new files recognized. Also playback and UX behaves erratic if there's already a saved play location when you move/rename files. Behaviour is the resume button being unresponsive. Server is audiobookshelf.

If it's supposed to happen, then I can report a separate bug.

Otherwise, the manual drag down refresh would be perfect.
