@ragamouf as always, thanks for organizing us. Most of the items I think we have, if not all. I can see 1 or 2 special sessions to complete this. There are two items under Committee Actions Requiring Executive Council Approval that I'd like to discuss. Also, in the past, we've had funded coordinators helping with the LCAG which I think really helps. We've lost that now. I'm not sure if I saw anything about Carpentries support, but I think it would be worth discussing and asking.
Thanks Chris. We touched on this tangentially in our meeting 1 of today, and I'll raise it again in meeting 2. Probably the widest discussion we can have will be on the topicbox list. Could you add more detail about the items you'd like to discuss?

The proposed calendar dates look good to me, Liz.
The calendar dates look good for me, thank you. (Second of each pair)
Thanks, fine for me too!
As per notes from Meeting 2, @annajiat & Toby also confirmed schedule of dates is ok.
These work on my end too, thanks.

I think this schedule works for me as well.
@ragamouf , I'm reading the original issue and I think it needs updating. Specifically
I would like to focus most of my attention for LCAG on achieving this goal by Dec 2021.
Do you want to update to Dec 2022?
I would like to confirm that these Quarterly 2022 meeting dates look good to me too! Thank you! Sorry for my delay in responding.
Goal definition
Apply the Carpentries Committee structure and be recognised as an official committee of the Carpentries. https://docs.carpentries.org/topic_folders/governance/committee-policy.html
Background The Library Carpentry Advisory Group provides advocacy and leadership for Library Carpentry, but our communication channels with The Carpentries are ad hoc. With a membership refresh at the start of 2021, we should make it a priority to implement more transparency in our activities, and how this group functions and is sustained.
The Carpentries Committee policy was established to ensure transparency and sustainability of community efforts. With clear articulation of committee roles and expectations, we can be sure our collaborative efforts are a good investment and reduce the risk of burnout for participants.
I would like to focus most of my attention for LCAG on achieving this goal by Dec 2021.
