DVDx v2 failed to mount DVD press A to continue #54

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.have an idiot upgrade your wii to 4.2
2.spend a week getting a functioning cIOS 250/249 working
3.install Hackmii/boomii/HBC/DVDx using the 4.2 package, everything works
including MplayerCE with film DVDs

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected was that genesis plus would still be able to mount my standard
short name basic ISO file DVDs and my nero hacked long filname support but
old header style ISO DVDs of roms (good when you have multiple versions or
each rom)

What version of the emulator are you using?
latest off HBB and tried latest off here

Please provide any additional information below (video settings, console
region,...)

European PAL 50Hz
emu works well off SDC and USB just not off DVD anymore
other Homebrew apps mount DVD no problem
I guess after a week or so research that Genesis Plus needs to be
recompiled using a new DVD filesystem libraray in order to take advantage
of the new title DVDx v2. thinks its a minor tweak but software dev was
never my strong point
I don't know enough about this area to know what i need to recompile.
with this being a mature emulator all the forums are full of out of date
rubbish and rants from 16 year old kids who's main response to anything
seems to be "read some info before posting! newbie"

SMS plus is similarly afflicted
and DVDX developers contact details lead to dead ends

any help?

yes, application that fails with the new DVDX should be recompiled with the new
libogc/libdi, this is not DVDX developper concern so don't bother them with
that,
it's up to application developper to use up-to-date libraries.

Anyway, it's not an issue with the emulator code and it's currently already
fixed in
the current revision if you follow the Compilation steps.

However, I'm planning to release a beta build with the new GUI to fix all these
annoying issues that popped up since the last "official" build, which is now
using
terribly outdated libraries.
