Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.start armitage
2.host-> nmap scan-> quick scan
3.type in website google.com and error will appear

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to see a nmap scan. I saw a nmap error "database not connected"

What version of Metasploit are you using (type: svn info)? On which
operating system?

At revision 15171.

The operating system is linux, backtrack 5r2

Which database are you using?
I'm not sure. In backtrack 5r1 i could select the database when armitage
started. In backtrack 5r2 the selection of databases are not show. Also, nmap
wont connect me to the database. Thats the problem

Please provide any additional information below.
I have updated msf before starting armitage. I have the latest version. I have
also started msfgui and got a password from the show connection option.

File-> Show connection Details.

I got an error saying connection refused.

Metasploit 4.3.0-dev is hosed for folks who rely on the environment provided by
the installer. If you want to use Armitage, you'll need to download Metasploit
4.2.0, install it, and not update.

When Metasploit 4.3.0 comes out, you will need to reinstall Metasploit (and
then updating should be OK).
