Tutorial on which pins to connect on the USB->RS485 adapter and the relay board? #44

Hey,

I'm trying to follow the setup with the recommended 8x relay board and the USB->RS485 adapter.

I saw this photo from the original announcement post in the Victron Community site: 65810-capture-decran-2023-11-28-a-014622

It's slightly unclear for me how to use the RS485 adater. Would someone be able to guide me on which pins I need to connect from the adapter to the relay board in order to get the relay board connected to the Cerbo GX?

Just A -> A and B -> B?

I assume this datasheet is correct even on this case:

I got the external relays working by connecting the A->A and B->B pins from the adapter and the relay board and powering both of them on with 12v power sources. It was pretty straightforward in the end and they do show up in Settings -> Relay menu. For the next beginners just follow the README and you'll be fine.
