Can't see speaking chat text when interacting with villagers #846

Describe the bug When I try to talk to a villager no text appears from them. It doesn't matter which type of interaction it is, I can't see any chat from them at all.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Right click villager
  2. Click on Talk
  3. Click on any type of interaction
  4. No text response shows

Version MCA Version: 7.3.23 Minecraft version: 1.16.5 Modloader: Forge

I have Architectury installed.

Please confirm this without any other mods, and if that works, find the mod conflicting.

I have tried it again with no mods installed (except Architectury).

It still does not work.

Sadly, I have still absolutely no clue how this could happen. Also I'm still waiting for confirmation that its working with only mca, the latest log provided above is modded.

Hi! I've been having this same issue for months too, the newest versions for 1.16.5 (7.3.23 - 7.3.19) aren't showing any chat texts. 7.0.11 does work though.

No other mods, just MCA and Architectury on Forge 36.2.39. Tried it on .42 before, no luck. log.txt
