Villagers Refusing Interation #883

Running version 7.3.23 on Minecraft 1.16.5 and every single villager I interact with refusing to talk to me. They make noises refusing conversation and this persists across different worlds, so I don't believe it's anything to do with a debuff on the player. Any help?

Find the mod conflict doing that

I was having the same issue and it turned out that I had mismatched versions on client and server. I hope that helps.
