Extreme Lag #725

Describe the Bug

I have just downloaded the mod and went into creative just to test the mod out before getting a server to host with some friends. Almost instantly while flying around I experienced MASSIVE spikes where i would be stuck loading from 1-5 seconds several times. This would happen as I turned or moved. I went in and allocated 100000 Megabytes of RAM to the game just to see if that was the issue and it made almost no difference. I also checked my CPU which only capped at roughly 56% while playing. If theres a way to figure out what the issue is please give me the link. I am on default setting for everything. This PC can run Star Citizen at max graphics at 60 fps, so theres no reason for MC to be bogging down my pc.

  1. You need to update to v59. We offer no support for old versions of the modpack whatsoever.
  2. Medieval MC is a modpack, not a mod.
  3. Please follow the performance guide https://github.com/LunaPixelStudios/Better-MC/wiki/Performance-Guide
  4. Allocating 100,000 megabytes of memory to your game will NOT fix anything. You are overloading the Java garbage collector, resulting in even more lag than before.
  5. Please be more patient next time.
