Landscape orientation displays as if portrait.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Terminal, change phone to landscape orientation.
2. Type any command where output displays longer lines than portrait would 
display without wrapping

or

1. Open Terminal, change phone to landscape orientation.
2. Type any command that exceeds line length that portrait would display before 
wrapping.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

In landscape mode you would expect to use all columns for command input or 
output.  Instead all lines are truncated at portrait length.  You can hide 
keyboard, then show keyboard and command output corrects itself.  Same is true 
of command input.  

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

mobileterminal r496.  iOS 4.2.1, 3Gs early bootrom PwnageTool.app 4.1.3
