Calls to java with the DISPLAY environment variable defined fail on windows with error message:

Error: Could not find or load main class DISPLAY=''
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: DISPLAY=''

This bug was introduced in 5293eda and is present in CRAN release 1.0.2 (but not in 1.0.1).

Version with this fix was accepted by CRAN today.
