Hello, I'm running the latest MacOS Ventura 13.0.1 on my iMac Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017 with the latest QLVIDEO 1.96 installed using .pkg. I've restarted finder, log out/re-log in/restart my Mac but I cannot see any thumbnails on my video files in the finder (I have mp4/mkv and also just in few video files I can see infos using cmd+i. I can only see video screenshots on every of my video files if I press the space bar to see a preview. Is there a way to setting up all correctly? I also delete QLVIDEO then installed again

Thank you for your help

I have the exact same problem, MacBook Pro 16 / M1 Max. Any pointers would be welcome.

Please open the Terminal app in Applications/Utilities, paste the following and press Enter: open /Library/Application\ Support/QLVideo/QLVideo.app

Under System Settings → Privacy & Security (scroll to the bottom) → Extensions → Quick Look ensure that "QLVideo thumbnails" is checked.

This will be fixed in the next release.

Thanks, that worked and I can see all thumbnails now! The only thing left is that checking infos (cmd+i) on my videos, not in all of them I can see details like resolution/video type/length/etc, and that seems random (not connected to one file type for example). Is there a way to solve also this?

Closing since this should be fixed in release 2.00. Please open a new issue if you're still seeing this problem.

Spotlight seems to index in its own sweet time. I've added some advice here.
