Buy tiki torches #100

Walmart has tiki torches for $2.50. If you want me to get them, let me know how many. Probably the supply will dwindle as the summer progresses.

Here's what we are thinking: we dont need the torches if it rains, but in that case, we would be able to return the tiki torches unused right? The only problem there, is if it has been too long to return them if you buy them now.

Mom - If you think all that will be fine, we were thinking that 30 tiki torches would probably be good. Do you think thats enough to cover the tent, a walkway to the bathroom, and a walkway to the bonfire? Or should we get 40..? Maybe we can get 40 and then return the ones we dont use for sure, perhaps all of them if it rains?

Lots of questions, let me know what you think.

I will check with walmart about their return policy. David and I will think about how many we need. Will report back.

Any news on this? Figure we should make moves soon since they will stop being around towards the end of summer.

We need about: 5 tikis for the path to the potties 5 tikis for the path to the bonfire 28 tikis for around tent (1 at each guy wire)

So that is 38 total (or rounded up, 40) 40 x $2.50 = $100 (plus tax)

I will ask Walmart tomorrow what their return policy is. If we can return them unused after September 15, I will go ahead and buy 40.

Even if it is windy and rainy and the tikis won't stay lit, they would be tall markers for the treacherous tent stakes, and we could tie something from the tiki to the guy wire to further mark the danger.

We now have 40 tiki torches and 200 ounces of fuel (90 day return policy)
