What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Placing SMSPlus on SD card in "SD/apps/smsplus" folder
2.Placing Roms on USB in "USB/smsplus/roms
3.Trying to load from HBC

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to be able to load roms from USB. USB drive cannot be found by 
smsplus. It is not the drive, as Fceugx and Snesgx are working well in the 
same fashion.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version. Tried downloading from HB Browser and SD method from 
wiibrew (V. 081214)

Please provide any additional information below.
No freezing etc. occurs. Simply cannot load roms from USB. Would love to 
resolve the issue, as SD card has run out of space.

I have the same issue... 
SD Card is opened instead of USB HDD.

Compiled the latest SVN Version yesterday and USB seems to be working...Can you 
also
try to compile the latest SVN Version, kmiles150? I think this shoul be working 
for
you as well... Just look at the Wiki on the genesis plus site and follow the
instruction. It's very easy and it'll take ~15min.

Once again, this is related to low-level libraries used to compile the code. 
Last
official version is quite old and would need to be recompiled against new 
libogc. See
genplus-gx Wiki to learn how to compile the code or wait for an upcoming new 
version.
