Will there ever be a cheat support for GBA games?

Hello dear VBAGX team!

Your emulator is amazing! Yet, I do have one wish to you. I have been waiting 
for about two years now for a cheating system for gba games. It would be great, 
if you could also port the great cheating system like in Snes9x to VBAGX. 

I'm sure it will be fun to try out the cheats in Metroid Fusion sitting in 
front of the wii on the couch! :D

Moreover, I do not think, it is that difficult to implent a cheating system. It 
is also uncomfortable to cheat on the computer.

I'd be glad if you replied soon and gimme a clear answer if there will ever be 
a support for cheats!

thank you and I appreciate the enthusiam but I don't intend to continue adding 
features to this project. I'm too busy with other things. of course, if someone 
else does and submits a patch I would add it.
