If there is anything else feel free to add it to the list. Mark complete items with a check

cmgorke commented 9 years ago

I still got the Force Wide if that's okay.

codethirteen commented 9 years ago

I'm restructuring the forums currently.

cmgorke commented 9 years ago

The ACE 3 Setup shouldn't be to hard, if we can just change it from the test modpack to the main one, right?

codethirteen commented 9 years ago

forum restructure complete. I'll be happy to work on the mod repo.

SamuelMaunder commented 9 years ago

For anything that isn't critical (security/ability to play ArmA) I'm going to leave it until the end of the week to make sure I know who is staying so I don't make decisions based on people we don't have. Further to that I woke up this morning feeling a bit more refreshed and have some kind of idea of restructure; nothing major really just removing things that are no longer needed. (eg. Airman ranks)

I'm not sure how exactly the mod repo works but I don't think it would be too difficult to learn from what we have already. It may be wise to keep everything the same name because otherwise it may want to delete 8GB of files for all of us to reinstall.

Declutter of GitHub can be done when it's all pulled together under the USEC Repo. I think it'll mainly be a case of removing most, if not all, issues and reopening them as they come up. Bottom up approach.

jonpas commented 9 years ago

If you don't mind, I'll comment and give some advice.

We didn't have a mod repo for a reason, modpack is/was big and GitHub limit us 1GB, additionally Git is terrible with large files.

If there are any questions I am happy to answer them, I don't hold any grudge against anyone.

SamuelMaunder commented 9 years ago

Any comments are helpful really.

This is me right now

Sam as CoS

I think what Romano means here is setting up the A3Sync stuff for the mods such as the auto-config etc etc plus perhaps a new repo for any issues/tracking. Not the actual files.

atlasicus commented 9 years ago

The server admin information can be found on the a3sync developers wiki here: http://www.sonsofexiled.fr/wiki/index.php/ArmA3Sync_Wiki_English#Use_as_a_server_administrator any specific questions I think JJ or I would be happy to help with.

That's Rory's dog, you can't have it! :P

What Doe said, we are happy to help, even though we aren't in the group anymore doesn't mean we can't help each other. :)

assaultboy commented 9 years ago

I'm just glad this is being handled maturely like adults. I don't think I've ever seen a community split like this with such grace

jelly-of-the-guava commented 9 years ago

God dam it Romano you stole my job, oh well.

maccas117 commented 9 years ago

Sam, I'm happy to look at and help you with the Standing Order, MANLO, and rank restructure, I've always been good at that stuff. I'll need all the documents and stuff to look at and work on
