This is definitely in the draft stages, since I've used a few approaches I feel might be perceived as "hacky", and I'm happy to try other approaches. I've opted to forgo using #super and #sup, to allow for vertical stacking when typesetting asymmetric uncertainties.
Unfortunately this does pass math: false down to the individual components, but this might be avoidable.
