MegaMek is a networked Java clone of BattleTech, a turn-based sci-fi boardgame for 2+ players. Fight using giant robots, tanks, and/or infantry on a hex-based map.
When attempting to refit units of the following chasses, these mechs lose all of their quirks and are left with no quirks, rather than keeping the baseline chassis ones from the BMM. These units are the Griffin, Wolverine, Black Knight, Mongoose, and Longbow, though there may be more. A quick check of the canonUnitQuirks.xml file shows that each of these units only has quirks assigned on a per variant basis, and no fallback generic chassis exists for non canonical refits in MekHQ, which is an issue if your refit consists of battlefield repairs with a new designation.
