Also having this problem, specially when going between dimensions, disconnecting and then reconnecting to the server fixes the issue, but its annoying to do this every time.
same here
even happens on single player for me, on save reload / quit out it just disappears Edit: after more testing, it shows up if u die and respawn, or leave the chunk and go back in.
The very first time I created labels it would lay down the hitbox for it but not render the label (on the end of a double chest) in multiplayer survival. After re-launch of my client, they weren't there, but when I re-placed them, they rendered and persisted.
HOWEVER, the labels don't seem to be showing up ever for the other player on my server. I will be testing further, so if any new info presents itself, I will add it here.
This also nearly consistently happens when teleporting into the chunks where the labels are. This is ESPECIALLY noticeable when using Waystones.
damn i wish i could replicate. would have fixed this ages ago
it must be some "optimization" mod messing shit up
@MehVahdJukaar i think ive figured it out, i removed VeryManyPlayers
from my server since it was causing other issues, the labels works fine now, no weird dissapearing issues.
I've never had that mod installed, so that can't be the only cause, maybe there are multiple glitches that just have similar effects.
So if you press f3+b can you see their hitboxes when this happens?
must be optifine then huh
Hm by the amount of replies I would say no as it's common knowledge to remove optofine when issues arise given its infamous mod breaking reputation so if that was the case I would have expected somebody to have if figured out by now
Yea I just tried it out with optifine and it works for me. It seems to be a desync on the server side then.. maybe when the chunks unload by disconnecting or leaving the area then they disappear and don’t load back. Because what’s weird is when I place new ones on my server when the other labels are gone, I can see the new ones.
Sometimes when placed on a server or when going to the nether
