Rounding out parametrisation of column names #275

Closes #273 Closes #238

All column names are now parametrised, tests pass locally (Arch Linux; Python 3.11.8).

Also came across #238 so have addressed that so the documentation is up-to-date and consistent with how the software works and the output it produces.
