print/display info about code analyzer when running #198

When running some code analyzers (pylint, pyflakes, pychecker), sometimes
nothing is output.  This could either be because of some bugs OR because
the analyzer has nothing to report.

Some (one?) analyzer prints out some info to the terminal when running;
however, this is not necessarily apparent to the end user.  Instead, some
information should be printed out by the code analyzer about what
functionality is exercised in addition to the actual output.

Fixed. r1304 and r1305.  Additional improvements were made.
