Compiled binaries of 1.8.1 version doesn't include SQL Server type files #20625

Trying to run dt.exe results in: Critical error: Error loading msvcr100.dll (ErrorCode: 126)

Yeah, except that I'm doing it locally, for CosmosDB emulator.

P.s. I've cloned source code and compiled it locally - everything worked as expected, no error occurred.

Oh ok it's good you found a workaround for now :). I will assign this to the content author @deborahc to evaluate if the pre-compiled binary file needs to be changed.

@thePmr thanks for sharing your feedback, just tested, the data migration tool works fine for me on the local machine. There aren't any know issues with using it with the emulator, I see you are unblocked now. But in case you still want to use it with the emulator but seeing issues, can you please send an email to askcosmosdb@microsoft.com alias, a border audience can see the issue and help you debug. We will close this issue here.
