Update: I found a workaround for this. It's quite inefficient but I guess it works since I even couldn't import some FTB modpacks through the menu in ManyMC. So, to go around this, I installed MultiMC and the FTB app. First, open the FTB app and then install a modpack from Curseforge or FTB. Then, open MultiMC and import the modpack from the FTB app. There is an option for this in MultiMC 0.6.16 when creating an instance. Once transferred, go to the instance folder for the modpack and copy it. Once you have copied the instance folder, go to ManyMC and open the instances folder from ManyMC and paste the modpack folder from MultiMC in.
It works, but it's kind of janky so I hope this issue will be fixed soon.
Please switch over to Prism Launcher, it likely has this issue fixed. More info in README.
I tried basic troubleshooting first
Describe the bug
Because I can no longer directly import modpacks from Curseforge as seen in #87, I tried to download the modpack directly from there and import it from the zip file. However, this would crash the launcher. I've tried this with other modpacks too and it causes the same issue. I am using the latest version of the launcher on macOS 12.4 which is all shown in the crash report down below.
This is the modpack I'm trying to install: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/infinityevolved-reloaded
To reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
I think it could be because the Curseforge API key thing is down but I'm not sure. I'm new to modpacks so I don't know how they work.
Expected behavior
It should just create a new instance with all the correct mods and stuff installed.
