Great suggestion, but what about the bot issues? They can get servers up to like 1000 bumps or something. Also what about this?
Default have 2 hours of cooldown, 5 bumps per day VIP have 1.75 hours of cooldown, 7 bumps per day PRO have 1.50 hours of cooldown, 10 bumps per day LEGEND have 1.25 hours of cooldown, 14 bumps per day PATRON have 1 hours of cooldown, 16 bumps per day (adding limitions to player, making it harder for bots to spam bumps)
Free plan can have a maximum amount of 18 bymps per 30m Daily plan can have a maximum amount of 20 bumps per 30m MH20 can have a maximum amount of 25 bumps per 30m MH35 can have a maximum amount of 30 bumps per 30m MH75 can have a maximum amount of 50 bumps per 20m MH Unlimited, it lives up to its name, so it can have unlimited bumps
EDIT: More suggestion on this idea:
A top bumped server should be broadcasted into the chat every 10 minute or something example: Top bumps leaderboards: 1) Lobby-00 2) Lobby-01 3) Lobbu-02
There should be a hologram displaying top bumped servers

Hey there, thanks for your constructive feedback! Just to clarify; Bumping is a per-server basis, not a per-user basis. Say, I bump my server once, and it's pushed up to the top page. Later on, someone else tries to bump my server but it's already been bumped earlier on, and they'd have to wait for 2 hours from when the server was first bumped by me in order to bump my server again. This prevents alting, and is fair to users of all ranks!
Also, the hologram idea is super cool on your part. It's non-intrusive, but convenient. +1 for that.
I believe that bumping a server shouldn't be something you can do everyday, I believe you should be allotted a certain number of bumps you can add to a server, similar to how Discord boosts work. I don't think that server plans should be limited in the amount of bumps they're given as it would make server bumping a lot more valuable than it would be in your suggestion @ManagePasswords.
Touching on the "p2w" thing, technically it's not because all users have access to it, it's not a command or smth they don't. They could probably remove it and still be fine lol.
Instead of 'bumping' per-say, this could work in cooperation with favourite servers. As Faacto was saying, this would give users a limit of which servers they can 'bump'. If it was like this, the more people who favourite your server, the higher it would be in this 'bumped server list'. This would also be a nicer way of seeing which servers are more favourable by players as compared to simply their player count.

Bumping servers as a way of advertising, complimenting the /ad command How the feature is useful
The cooldown on /ad is very long, especially for Defaults. It's not fair for Defaults and other lower rank players to have such a long cooldown on /ad, and quite frankly it's breaking Mojang's EULA on their pay-to-win policies.
Elaboration on bumping servers How the system works: on the compass menu, there's a spot where Bumped servers are shown. Players can bump a server by going to a lobby and type /bump [servername]. A server can only be bumped once every two hours, given that they are online. This will put the server on the "bumped servers" list.
Servers with more elaborate descriptions and lower number of players will be shown higher up in the list.
