This is being discussed here #35, I don't think there's a solution for fixing the locked conversation in a chat bubbles other than disabling chat bubbles. If you have a better suggestion, make sure to tell use.
Tapping those feature's button says, please enter a conversation... which requires clearing data of messenger to fix it.
How often does this problem happen ? Is it preceded by a certain event you noticed (e.g rebooting phone, sending a message...). Please provide us with more details to be able to better diagnose the problem
