[question] where/how to download unstable build? #2205

'Cause as I mentioned in my other issue topic, updater doesn't work. Someone said to just put newer files into the folder I downloaded the newest build from here https://github.com/Monika-After-Story/MonikaModDev/releases/tag/v0.8.5 and put everything to my ddlc folder, but still I have older version. I saw youtuber playing the newest unstable build and I don't have features that he had. Do I just download not unstable build, or is it some other problem?

2 ways:

  1. checkmark unstable in settings and run the in-game updater. Recommended that you don't use a steam install with unstable builds.
  2. Via the unstable subdomain: unstable.monikaafterstory.com/Monika_After_Story-0.8.5-unstable.2018.08.27.51-Mod.zip. This url is not constant and will change for every build.

but actually I checkmarked this "unstable" thing, and still in-game updater doesn't work o.O I get this error I mentioned in my other issue sure, I'll try this link edit: link doesn't work

also try copying the contents of ddlc/game/update/* into ddlc/update/. If you don't have an update folder in game, take the one from the 085 release zip.
