Following to track progress of this proposal. Sounds awesome!
Thanks @bunnybooboo :)
@arroway, is this Youth Zone facing right now? Apologies - got lost in the moves above :)
@chadsansing it's still in the Queering milestone, but it'll make more sense to move it to the Youth Zone milestone for scheduling. Feel free to update the milestone, I'll still be able to track everything with the "queering xp" label!
Thank you, @arroway!
@chadsansing Details of this event updated based on the conversation we had on last Friday. I have copied this from my guidebook update.

Description of the event
The internet is a fantastic place for children and young people to learn, explore and create, however they have often to deal with a variety of negative and challenging issues, especially for the LGBTQ young people. Although there are growing discussions on children online safety from both the public and private sectors, we have seen the majority of the debates are around regulation and policy control. We asked ourselves 'Are there missed opportunities on Design which can lead to a greater impact to the Healthy Internet ?'
This session is an opportunity to hack the process of design and tech development on Inclusive design. Explore how we might apply good children service practices and get inspirations from children and young to change the way we think and build tech.
Taking the learnings from a six-month research and co-design project, we are going to present the draft design principles we produced with children and young people, social and youth workers from children services. Our children and young people are going to present their stories on what their online experience, what they think a Healthy Internet should look like.
The session is 100% hands-on and it will centre around some small working groups. You will be working with some young people, youth workers and students to re-imagine what is the future of inclusive tech product and service. You will be listening to stories from L, G, B, T, Q young people perspectives, discuss and work with the group to turn insights into ideas and solutions. At the end of the session, we will reflect on how our everyday role can make a difference and contribute a better, healthier internet for more people.
We will capture the outcome of this session and continue working with the open community in Mozilla Open Leader - Culture track. We will be sharing the information with you in the session on how you can keep following and collaborating with us on this project.
If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs. Paper, Markers Will send out some template for print before the print deadline to @gbaman

What will happen in your session?
Participants are free to go to any section in no particular order.
Stories from L, G, B, T, Q young people - There will be audio stories from our young people represented from L, G, B, T, Q to share their different experience and view on what a healthy internet means for each of them.
Design Principles for creating safe service for LGBTQ young people - a co-created piece from Barnardo's with practitioners and young people.
Making a difference - A wall space to capture participants’ reflection on how their everyday role can make a difference and contribute a better, healthier internet for more people.
What is the goal or outcome of your session?
Barnardo’s Digital and Positive Identities spent six-months conducting research on creating Safe Spaces Online for LGBTQ young people. We have learnt from our research that there is no simple solution to tackle the challenge, and doing so requires more than collaboration between tech companies, government and the charity sector. Through MozFest, we hope we can engage with every participant and demonstrate how each can, through their own work, become an ally for LGBTQ people, taking up the responsibility to create a healthier, fairer and safer internet for all.
If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs.
We will need 10 MP3 players with headphones in the gallery space for participants to listen to our young people’s stories.
We will also setting up the space with mix media, including posters, audio/video.
Time needed
All weekend, as an installation, exhibit or drop-in session
