What will happen in your session?

Initially in our session we would have an introduction about dvpn followed by various cyber techniques of d-vpn without violating the principles of appropriate vpn. We would have an interactive session about the pros and cons of VPN through which we would make the participants to gain a knowledge to develop an Ethereum based VPN by using Blockchain technology . With this the participants would be trained to set up a Decentralized VPN node in a cloud platform.

What is the goal or outcome of your session?

The goal of our session is to make the participants understand about blockchain powered decentralised VPN and how it provide decengralized, safe access to the internet using a VPN powered by blockchaintechnology.

If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs.

@Nikita-Singh, @ajaykrishnavasudev and @saichaitanyaraju thanks for the submission! If you want (but you don't have to), feel free you see if you want to work our zone theme into your session https://github.com/KadeMorton/Xenshana

@KadeMorton thanks for considering us! We would surely like to work on your zone theme in our session.

@Nikita-Singh, @ajaykrishnavasudev and @saichaitanyaraju a few questions. I was wondering if you could give me a very high level explanation on here of how a blockchain VPN would work and why this technology is applicable to VPNs.

Also, I wanted to confirm the name of your session, is the current title you have just an indication that you were submitting to the decentralisation space?

ajaykrishnavasudev commented 5 years ago

@KadeMorton thank you for showing interest in our session! VPN ,being centralised, is prone to security risks and privacy issues, which is mainly due to placing the private data in one hand, making 3rd parties access the data with ease.Blockchain technology decentralizes the VPN space using P2P architecture. This ensures no point of failure and also no central company or server. To avoid the loss of private data and exposure to hacking Blockchain in collaboration with VPN would be of a Great advantage

The title was not an indication, instead it was meant to appropriate for the described session as it manifests on decentralizing the network space.
