Description

Les participants pourront connaitre la philosophie de l'Open Source, la démarche Fab Lab dans la promotion de la science et la technologie dans un contexte Africain. L'histoire et les ambitions du Baby Lab (Premier Fab Lab Ivoirien) dont je suis le Vice Président de faire des quartiers populaires de potentiels pôles d'innovation technologique seront clairement exposé. Ils pourront être initier à l'électronique à travers des plaquettes de prototypage libres.

Agenda

Ci dessous les étapes de l'animation des ateliers: 1) Présentation générale de la session. 2) Présentation du Baby Lab comme un modèle de promotion de la science ouverte en Afrique. 3) Constitution des équipes pour l'atelier de découverte et d'initiation à l'électronique. 4) Chaque représentant de groupe donnera ses impressions et les idées que la session pourrait lui donner plus tard. 5) Je fais le résumé et met fin à la session

Participants

Je mettrai en valeur le travail collaboratif qui est une philosophie de faire ensemble. Les participants seront constitués en plus groupe de travaux de maximum 5 personnes.

Outcome

J'espère trouver des partenaires pour l'évolution de notre Fab Lab en Côte d'Ivoire. Je ferai un compte rendu détaillé au près de ma communauté et d'autres organisations de jeunesse dans mon pays pour les encourager à s'impliquer dans des projets de science ouverte.

Fab Labs — Promotional space for Open Science

Description

Participants will learn the Open Source philosophy, the Fab Lab approach in promoting science and technology in an African context. The history and ambitions of the Baby Lab (First Ivorian Fab Lab) for which I am the Vice President, to turn working-class districts into potential centers of technological innovation will be clearly exposed. They may be initiated to electronics through free prototyping pads.

Agenda

Here is the workshop agenda: 1) Overview of the session. 2) Baby Lab presentation as a promotional model of open science in Africa. 3) Establishment of teams for the discovery workshop and introduction to electronics. 4) Each group representative will give his impressions and ideas that the session could give him back later. 5) I will sum up then close the session

Participants

I will highlight the collaborative work, a philosophy of doing together. Participants will be split in several work groups of 5 people max.

Outcome

I hope to find partners for the development of our Fab Lab in Ivory Coast. I will make a detailed report to my community and other youth organizations in my country to encourage them to get involved in open science projects.
