Description

My session will allow the audience to see the progress that young Africans are making especially through the use of technology to better their lives and the lives of their communities

Agenda

It will make the audience see that young Africans are not sitting around waiting for aid, they are making use of the resources available t them to make things happen

Participants

I will have a mini talk which will showcase things that are done by 15-18 year olds and what the rest of the youth are are doing. That way the sessions can be tailored to make sense to any type of audience

For an audience of 3 I will have a closer intimate session with discusses mixed with video content of young South Africans doing things

15 to 25 people: I will focus on more visual content like showing the 3D electronics skateboard that we have made.

Outcome

As Geekulcha we will continue with the work that we do with young South Africans, especially when t comes to empowering them with technological skills and opportunities

Through the exposure from the festival, we would like to see future collaborations with some of the people from the audience.

@EPIKhub This is a young inspiring person who loves making cool stuff - I would highly recommend them as I think they will bring the element of fun with them. @thornet what about in the Tale of two cities?

Since Fuel the Movement is focused on Copyright issues in the EU, and skills-building for digital campaigners, would also suggest this moves to Youth.
