What will happen in your session?

The pre-college students will present a hands on display to teach the workshop attendees about smart grid technology. The workshop attendees will participate in an educational video game and interact with a table top display. The video game and the table top display are created by the pre-college students who attend the Pre-Freshman Program in Engineering and Science at Chicago State University.

What is the goal or outcome of your session?

The goals for the Smart Grid Interactive Display is to teach others about smart grid technology through game play and hands on interactions. The goals for this presentation is to also have the student participants to share with the world their research and accomplishments.

If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs.

The Pre-Freshman Program in Engineering and Science at Chicago State University will bring all supplies needed for our presentation. We will need electrical outlets to power our computers.

@31466 the laptops we have are going to be setup in the small lab we have, this fits about 7-8 people all together, we don't have any spares unfortunately and your session will need a bigger capacity than 8 people - you can carry laptops as hand luggage.
