I think that in addition to x-update, we should add this to the instruction for transition from script/git to ppa.

Ok, I understand now why you added ppa-purge and so what I've asked for isn't required.

But instead I'm asking you again why are we adding x-update to people's repo without asking them ?

I think we should ask people before doing this, explaining that we are adding this repository to provide nVidia 275 instead of 270 and what are the benefits/inconvenients.

And it would allow people like me that are using even freshers ppa (xorg-edgers here) to not add a not needed repo...

I know that this has been an issue.. but should now be solved with the bumblebee ppa version, as it has its own nvidia-current driver.. so we don't need anything else...
