BIOS cannot edit BIOS settings. That "BIOS setting" is likely determined at startup, based on the power condition of the card.
Comment the ACPI call in /usr/local/bin/bumblebee-{en,dis}ablecard
A wrong ACPI call may do that effectively.
OK is the ACPI. For an installation error have not been created the files in rc.d. Thanks for your time and excuse me for my haste.

Hi,
There is 2 graphics options into the Asus K52Jc bios, the first "WINDOWS 7/VISTA" enables the Optimus system and Bumblebee can run correctly, the second choice in bios is "RESERVED" and run only the Intel HD video card. Now a question: Can Bumblebee change the bios settings? Every time i start a KDE session Bumblebee work fine without errors but after the first reboot i find my bios set on RESERVED. Any tips?
For info i use the latest Bumblebee from PPA on Kubuntu Natty 64
